PRINCE GEORGE - The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who was found deceased in the Fraser River in Prince George on July 29, 2012.
The man is Colin Oliver Wesley, aged 65, from Prince George.
Mr. Wesley was pulled from the river by Prince George RCMP after they received a report of a man's body seen floating down the river near Fort George Park in the downtown area of Prince George. RCMP were able to recover the body about four kilometres further downstream.
Foul play has been ruled out by the RCMP, and the Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Wesley have been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
